I’m Megan Taylor, a home renovator and woodworker, plus the heart and hands behind TwoFeetFirst. Want to make your home awesome? You’re in the right place!

You could say building is in my blood. My dad is a professional contractor, and he’s been my mentor. Plus, I also invest time in research and planning before diving into any project. My aim is to help you avoid common pitfalls and succeed in your DIY endeavors. And guess what? After years of being the mentee, my dad now calls me for renovation and building tips and ideas!

I started my DIY journey in 2013 when my family bought our first home. Since then, I’ve rolled up my sleeves and tackled hundreds of projects. From woodworking to home renovations, I’ve done it all, and I want to share that hands-on experience with you.
